Armed Forces Weekend

Join us at Glendale Valley Campground for a special and patriotic event: Armed Forces Weekend. In honor of our brave men and women in uniform, we’re offering free camping for all active and prior military personnel with a military ID or DD Form 214. It’s our way of expressing gratitude for their dedicated service and sacrifice.

Located amidst the serene beauty of Central Pennsylvania’s Alleghenies, Glendale Valley Campground provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind in nature’s embrace. Surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Prince Gallitzin State Park, our campground offers a peaceful retreat where military personnel and their families can enjoy quality time together.

On May 17th & 18th, military personnel are invited to pitch their tents or park their RVs free of charge, as a token of appreciation for their commitment to our country. Whether you’re looking to explore the great outdoors, gather around a campfire with fellow service members, or simply enjoy some well-deserved rest and relaxation, Glendale Valley Campground welcomes you with open arms.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll be hosting special activities and events to honor our military guests. From flag-raising ceremonies to patriotic music performances, there will be plenty of opportunities to come together and celebrate the spirit of camaraderie and service.
